Our Impact

HydroConnect has successfully completed numerous projects across Kenya,

making a significant impact in communities by providing access to clean water.

Our work has supported agriculture, improved health outcomes,

and contributed to economic development in the regions we serve.

CITAM BURUBURU PROJECT

This project focused on the rehabilitation of an existing borehole to restore its full functionality. The work began with pipe lifting, which involved carefully removing the pipes to assess their condition. A detailed camera inspection was then conducted to visually examine the interior of the borehole, identifying any issues or blockages that needed attention. Following the inspection, a thorough diagnosis was carried out to determine the exact problems affecting the borehole's performance.

Based on the diagnosis, new materials were sourced and purchased to replace any damaged or worn components, ensuring the borehole could operate efficiently. The final step in the rehabilitation process was the installation of a new pump, which was chosen to match the specific needs of the borehole and the water demand. This comprehensive approach ensured that the borehole was fully restored and capable of delivering a reliable water supply.

BOREHOLE REHABILITATION IN BABADOGO

The borehole rehabilitation project in Babadogo was undertaken to restore an aging borehole to optimal working condition. The process began with the careful removal of existing pipes through pipe lifting, allowing the team to inspect the borehole's internal structure. A camera inspection was then carried out, providing a clear view of the borehole's interior to identify any blockages, cracks, or other issues that were affecting its performance. Once the inspection was completed, a thorough diagnosis was made to pinpoint the exact causes of the borehole's inefficiency. Based on these findings, new materials were procured to replace outdated or damaged components, ensuring the borehole's longevity and effectiveness. The final stage of the rehabilitation involved the installation of a new, high-quality pump, tailored to meet the water needs of the community. This comprehensive rehabilitation process successfully restored the borehole, providing the residents of Babadogo with a reliable and sustainable water source.

BOREHOLE REHABILITATION IN ISIOLO

The borehole rehabilitation project in Isiolo focused on enhancing the performance and longevity of a community water source through camera inspection and flushing. The process began with a detailed camera inspection, where advanced equipment was lowered into the borehole to capture high-resolution images of the interior. This allowed the team to identify any blockages, silt accumulation, or structural issues that could hinder the borehole’s efficiency. Following the inspection, the borehole was thoroughly flushed to remove debris, silt, and any other obstructions that had built up over time. This cleaning process not only improved water flow but also ensured that the borehole could continue to operate effectively for years to come. The rehabilitation work in Isiolo was a crucial step in maintaining a reliable water supply for the community, addressing both immediate concerns and preventing future issues.

BOREHOLE DRILLING IN KISUMU

The recent project in Kisumu involved the drilling of four new boreholes as part of an effort to enhance the water supply in the region. Each borehole was strategically located based on extensive hydrological surveys to ensure access to the most productive aquifers. The drilling process was carried out with precision, using advanced equipment to reach the required depths and secure a reliable water source for the community.

Throughout the project, strict adherence to safety and environmental standards was maintained, minimizing the impact on the surrounding area. Once drilling was completed, the boreholes were thoroughly tested to confirm water quality and flow rates, ensuring they met the necessary standards for long-term use. This project significantly increased Kisumu's capacity to provide clean, sustainable water, supporting both residential and agricultural needs.
